For those of you who pour over countless manuals, supplements & editions of Dungeons & Dragons, you know how insanely complex and unnecessarily monotonous that every game can be. Wizards simply trying to figure out their spells can be the ultimate test of any players patience. Your just there, digging through your books, trying to find a one sentence rule so that the game can go on. Meanwhile, your friends just want to wring your neck because you are doing nothing but flipping through pages all game. D&D could seriously use a nice and simplified version for those who prefer the role playing more than they like being a rules lawyer.

These rules, found in a D&D forum, have to be the best thing I have seen on the game in a long time. Of course every DM should be able to do just what this simplified version does, understanding that when your in the middle of the game you dont want to waste a lot of time finding things. In any case, I hope you got a good chuckle out of this, and hell, maybe even play by these rules! Show your DM, I am sure they will get a kick out of it!
